What are the rules for dating a Honduran?
I am living in the United States and have met a fabulous Honduran man who lives in the same city as I do. What are some cultural differences regarding dating that I will need to know? I am a fairly progressive, assertive woman. Do most Honduran men prefer to take the lead in a relationship? Do I need to be careful about being agressive? Also after a very short time he is telling me that he loves me. Is this normal for the culture? Not sure if it matters or not, but I’m about 10 years older than him. Uh – no I am NOT willing to become submissive to please him. I’ve never changed to make anyone happy. And no, he does not want me for citizenship. He eventually wants to move back to Honduras.
dont date honduran men, at first they all nice n all that but after some time they change n they show their real personality. hes telling u that he loves u but has he prove it to u?? they do like to take the lead in a relationship, n yeah be becareful about being agressive if hes agressive he might respond back with the same he might not do it know but he can start when u to r married or just live together…honduran men are machistas, they like their women to stay home, cook, take care of the kids, clean the house n all that but they wont help u out…they wont wash the plate where he ate n plus ur 10 years older than him maybe hes just taking advantage of u. im hondurian too n i wont marry a hondurian man.
