The countries of South America, Peru is Lima, which can be found, and is undoubtedly the most popular and productive city in the country. It is fair to say that Lima is the hub around which the country seems every aspect of power is industrial, economic, political and social.

Lima was founded by Spanish conquistadors and was the main town in South America at least three hundred years, when he held positions of power. Many other cities in the South American countries have taken important, Lima Perus remains the focal point, with almost one third of the population.

Barranco was founded in 1874. Its the smallest district of Lima and has always been an attractive holiday destination for the urban middle class and upper Lima and abroad.

Plaza de Armas, Government Palace, Cathedral, ancient streets in the colonial area, many of them still have nice balconies, and then continue in the modern residential district San Isidro and Miraflores, where you can see the Pacific Ocean.

Once considered the heart of old Lima, this Grand Plaza has important monuments and buildings, including a bronze fountain dating back to 1650, the Archbishop's Palace with its elegant balconies and the Government Palace, which dates from 1924.

The catacombs in the Monasterio de San Francisco are appropriately creepy. Lima used as a cemetery until 1810, still house thousands of skulls and bones, all classified by type. Tunnels groundwater are also a number and where the bodies were stacked to decompose until the bones could be otherwise. Visitors can tour the catacombs and visit the monastery, which has a collection of religious art and a library of the 17th century.

This museum houses an impressive collection of pottery exhibitions of the mummies, a gold room, textiles made from feathers and a unique collection of Pre-Columbian erotic sexual practices that illustrate a number of Peruvian cultures.
